Dick and I grew up in the same neighborhood and graduated high school together, then I moved to California. We kept in touch at reunions and my family always knew we could trust him. So when my parents needed a realtor to sell my grandparent's farm a few years ago, we went with Dick. My sisters still live in the Twin Cities with lots of realtor contacts, but we went with my old friend Dick. He did a fantastic job over a sustained period to close a complex farm property deal. He coordinated an engineered plan and permits to subdivide the farm acreage into build-able lots. There were many complications along the way including resistance from relatives, but Dick solved each and every problem with skill, diplomacy, and efficiency. We were extremely pleased with the outcome. Then it came time to sell our parent's home, while my parents were living in Hawaii. This one was even more complicated than the farm sale, with an easement encroachment issue and structural concerns. The buyer began renting while Dick obtained difficult approvals from Xcel Energy, the City, and the County - all while reassuring the buyer and my parents to keep the deal alive over several months of uncertainty. I don't know how he pulled it off, but again, we were extremely pleased with the outcome. I hope your real estate needs are not so complex, but you have a champion in Dick Braun if they are.
